I am trying to get an ancient (small) project to compile/link with VS 2013 and Intel(R) Visual Fortran Compiler XE 126.96.36.199 [IA-32]. The project/solution creates a DLL which is used by some VB6 code at present. The attempt was to take the code and project as is and compile/link them to create the DLL in order to have a baseline to update the code to F90/95/2003/... At present the link is failing with
Error 2 error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol __DllMainCRTStartup@12 C:\Users\Stephen\Documents\Fortran\GRIDDLL\LINK GRIDDLL
This is unfamiliar. What might this mean? What project settings may be missing?
