Input encoding

Input encoding

Can we get more specifics on input encoding? There is some mention of "entities" regaridng quotes. Does that mean UTF-8 is possible? UTF-16 with BOM? HTML or XML entity codes other than quote?

For more complete information about compiler optimizations, see our Optimization Notice.

Just ASCII code 34 for quotes. No HTML or XML entity codes. No escape characters for the strings. We don't want to have a full printf implementation.Input encoding will be a plain text file, as all the files used in the other Intel Threading Challenge problems. Rama can provide more details about the exact encoding for the TXT and the servers in which the programs are going to be executed.Cheers,Gaston
