I am using a Dell Studio Slim desktop with a Intel G45/G43 Express Chipset HDMI output, to connect to a LN37A450C 37" samsung LCD TV with a native resolution of 1360 x 768. But I cannot get that resolution to work.
I used a computer with a NVIDIA card, and got the following EDID information using the MONINFO too.
Which I translated to the following DTD using the DTD calculation tool:
66 21 50 B0 51 00 1B 30 40 70 36 00 A0 5A 00 00 00 1E
But when I try to implement this resolution, the LCD TV goes blank and says "Mode Not Supported".
What can I do to fix this issue. You help is much appreciated.
PS- when I use a PC with a NVIDIA card and connect via DVI, I get the native resolution of 1360x768 and everything looks very smooth and clear. With the intel card, the picture is not very smooth (especially fonts)
