hey people,

aint sure if its appropriate for me to post this here but i've got a problem with deciphering (if that word even exist) DTD values.

I've made use of one of the DTD values provided on the site to get 1360X768 on my LCD but the problem now is that I'm stuck at 60Hz. Is there anyway I can overwrite the limit? I would like to set mine at 85Hz.........

Thanks guys!

For more complete information about compiler optimizations, see our Optimization Notice.

You can try going to http://xtiming.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/xtiming.pland generating a Modeline, then using the Wiki to translate the Modeline to DTD.

hey dude,

i seemm to have trouble trying to understand the codes. Is there anyway u can make the appropriate changes for me?

heres the DTD i have :

HKR,, DTD_1,%REG_BINARY%, 66,21,50,B0,51,00,1B,30,48,70,36,00,00,00,00,00,00,1C,37,01;1920x1080@60...Interlaced
HKR,, DTD_2,%REG_BINARY%, 66,21,50,B0,51,00,1B,30,48,70,36,00,00,00,00,00,00,1E,37,01;1920x1080@50...Interlaced
HKR,, DTD_3,%REG_BINARY%, 66,21,50,B0,51,00,1B,30,48,70,36,00,00,00,00,00,00,1A,37,01;1280x720@50....Non-interlaced
HKR,, DTD_4,%REG_BINARY%, 66,21,50,B0,51,00,1B,30,48,70,36,00,00,00,00,00,00,18,37,01;1280x720@60....Non-interlaced
HKR,, DTD_5,%REG_BINARY%, 00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00,00 ;Fifth DTD

sorry for the trouble.

It's not exactly that simple. Theoretically, you should be able to shift the refresh rate up to 85 just by changing the first two numbers 66 21 to 50 2F, or 51 2F, but in reality usually when the refresh rate shifts the total horizontalpixels and total vertical lines shift too.
