Using AvGrid OCX and object model in Delphi 7

I don't understand how to access the root group of an AvGrid ActiveX object that I've got sitting on a Delphi form. There's no Root property exposed to users of the ActiveX component, and I'd like to know how to assign a group to the grid for viewing. I'm pretty sure that I've constructed my graph hierarchy correctly.

Little help, please? Note that I do NOT want to dump out the object hierarchy to a file, and then read the file from a new instance of Array Viewer. I want to programmtically build my plots in Delphi with the object model, then somehow attach/assign/copy the root group to the AvGrid control.

Thanks in advance,

For more complete information about compiler optimizations, see our Optimization Notice.

Problem solved. Upon importing the type library into Delphi 7,
the Root property is exposed as the underlying Get_Root and Set_Root
methods, which are children of a "DefaultInterface" property. So
the Root property is available after all -- just not as documented...
