Intel XScale Compiler: Exe won't run on Pocket PC Device

I've installed the Intel XScale compiler on my XP system on which I'm using Visual Studio 2005 Pro. I've built a simple Capp for Pocket PC 2003 from the following source code:

Code:

#include

INT WINAPI WinMain(
		HINSTANCE hInst,
		HINSTANCE hPrevInst,
		LPTSTR lpCmdLine,
		INT nCmdShow)
{

	return (rand() % 2);
}

The app compiles fine, but when I try to run it under the debugger I get an error dialog in Visual Studio as the program attempts to launch:

Unable to start program '%CSIDL_PROGRAMFILES%foofoo.exe'.
An error occurred that usually indicates a corrupt installation (code 0x8007007e). If the problem persists, repair your Visual Studio installation via 'Add or Remove Programs' in Control Panel.

If I remove the mod operation, returning only rand(), the app runs as expected.

If I build the same project with the Visual Studio ARM compiler, it executes as expected.

Any ideas?
