Today is Aug 14, Still unable to submit AIR application

I have been waiting patiently until Aug 14 to be able to submit AIR application to Intel Atom Developer Challenge. Today is Aug 14, but I am still unable to submit AIR application to the challenge. When I try to submit a new application to Atom Developer Program AppUp center, it seems to only allow me to upload msi file. So I am unable to add app. Please help us submit AIR application. Thank you very much.

For more complete information about compiler optimizations, see our Optimization Notice.

The date was moved to the week of August 23rd to fine tune our process with Adobe. Currently AIR apps using the Melrose SDK are being submitted successfully to AppUp via Adobe's private beta. Please check back the week of Aug 23rd to submit your AIR app. Sorry for the inconvenience this delay has caused.

Latest news here. We had to deploy 2 news SDKs. So that reset QA on submission. Stay tuned on this forum for more info. Here's update post

Hi Bob,

We submitted two air Apps which has been already published in Adobe Market place. iContacts and iAlarm.

iContacts is still under validation it almost 14 days past since we submitted. We can understand that during initial stages there will be many roadblocks and a big queue but if we can speed up little bit that will be great.

iAlarm has been rejected saying " Application does not download or install from AppUp. The app installs and launches natively but not from within AppUp. The most common issue observed in this area has to do with properly advertised shortcuts within the .msi . Please see packaging requirements located here: http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/article/packaging-requirements and troubleshooting tips located here: http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/article/troubleshooting-validation-failures and confirm that your .msi meets the requirements. Please also see the article on beta testing: http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/article/beta-testing and beta test your application using AppUp prior to resubmission. Thank you!"

We never used .msi , we have submitted only air file. The comments says advertised shortcuts within the .msi.

Do we need to use only melrose sdks ? As mentioned in intel app site, we have build AIR app with Flex Builder 3 using Flex SDK 3.5a
It has been digitally signed.

Please let us know what has to be done.

Hi 5dollarapps,

Thank you for the information.

Validation times may varies and depends a lot of criteria such as the number of applications in validation queue, complexity of applications..etc. Normally it can take 2-3 weeks for an app to be validated.
I will pass these information to the validation team and ask somebody from the team to get in touch with you.
