Corrected - Apps with Non English meta data will not pass MeeGo validation

The below information originally posted is now outdated, and the issue is corrected .  You can now add meta data for multiple languages.  See your submission dashboard on supported languages

Apps with Non English meta data will not pass MeeGo validation
Validation for MeeGo apps will initially be English only.  We will accept multi-language apps in the English store, however we can only accept & validate apps that include English meta data only.  Please be aware of this as your submit your apps. If an app is submitted with non English meta data it will be rejected during this phase.

The good news is if you have a multi-language app you can get it published in AppUp for MeeGo as long as you only submit English meta data.   And when we start validating for other language stores, those who already have multi-language apps in the English store, only need to resubmit the language meta data.

Process
- English only app – submit as normal
- Multi-language app – submit your binary and English only meta data
- Non English language app – Not available as on Feb 14th for MeeGo – wait for more information before submitting your app.

Rejected App: If your app was rejected because you submitted the app with meta data other than English, simply remove the non English meta data and resubmit your application

Hi

are there any changes since february ?

That has changed, you can submit apps without English metadata too.

So any combination of English, French, German and Spanish metadata is accepted.
