AppUp encapsulator beta has now advanced to AppUp encapsulator 2.0 alpha status. Encapsulator 2.0 allows developers to leverage the Chromium Webkit solution and support many HTML 5 features such as HTML5 Video and Audio.

In addition, developers creating AppUp encapsulator based apps can now take advantage of additional APIs such as the In-App Purchase APIs for HTML5 applications. To view the list of APIs for AppUp encapsulator 2.0 alpha, go to the “Advanced API” tab on the AppUp encapsulator site. For additional information, please read the following articles:

I've stated it before (as posting a new topic); I got encapsulation error (and don't know why, cause I can't get a meaningful explanation) all the time. BUT, whenever I've started using encapsulator 1.0, my problems disappeared and I've successfully tested my .msi.

So, what I/we need, meaningful error messages.

Are there any plans to base the future versions of encapsulator on node-webkit project currently being developped by Intel Opensource Technology Center?
