SDK for IdeaCentre Horizon Multimode Table PC

SDK for IdeaCentre Horizon Multimode Table PC

Hi,

Wondering is there SDK for IdeaCentre Horizon Multimode Table PC development? Is it possible to use Intel Perceptual Computing SDK?

I see "Dragon Assistant" listed in product specification, does it mean Intel Perceptual Computing SDK can be used for Voice Recognition & Synthesis?

Also, there are some accessories, such as Joystick, Striker and E-dice. Is there any info how to support them:

Many thanks,

Hi Praveen,

Many thanks for your reply.

I've read links you've provided, but still unable to find answers to the following questions:

1) Is it possible to use Intel Perceptual Computing SDK on AIO for Voice Recognition & Synthesis?

2) I understand there is no depth camera on AIO, so what are exactly "camera-captured body gestures" mentioned at:
http://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/developing-immersive-apps-for-a...

Warm regards,
Ivan

Ivan,

I will get back to you on this

Thanks,

Praveen

Praveen, any update on this?

Hi Finalhit,

Why not check out the PCSDK forum http://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/intel-perceptual-computing-sdk.

You can run some of the SDK on standard cameras but obviously nothing that needs depth.

Hi David,

Actually questions were related to voice recognition/synthesis and "camera-captured body gestures".

If PCSDK forum is the right place for this, can Admin move this thread there, to avoid cross-posting?

Many thanks,
Ivan

hello  Finalhit,

yes, Voice Recognition and Synthesis of PCSDK can be used with inbuilt microphone of device, but i have just tried gestures without depth camera.

it isn`t working without it.

so for Voice Recognition & Synthesis  you can download Perceptual Computing SDK [ Module: Nuance Dragon Assistance ] from http://software.intel.com/en-us/vcsource/tools/perceptual-computing-sdk.

i am sure it would work since processor specification also satisfies.

I mean you must  require Intel`s Creative Interactive Gesture camera for recognising Gestures of PCSDK.

I expect Intel Perceptual Computing SDK can solve the problem. If not, future PCSDK can solve it.

I have used Intel PCSDK with the Creative 3D camera and Unity to develop app for AIO and it is working perfect as well as i have Processing Language to develop apps its working for me and there is no restriction as of i know but i haven't tried voice synthesis. If you can expose depth sensors with the normal AIO camera i guess it will work.Although the best bet will be to use Realsense camera.Thanks.
