Touch and Sensor in HP Pavilion

My screen has been touch sensor before but after I updated this in windows 8.1. It is gone. Where can I locate touch and sensor?

I recommend you contact HP support. Have you been able to resolve this?

Not yet! Likewise, I contacted HP regarding this and they can't resolve this,

Check in the device manager to see if there is a HID showing an error. If so search for driver, it must exist because you said it was working.

I did a little digging.

Both my UltraBook and Surface have HID-Compliant touch screen under HID in device manager.  The Touch screen uses the standard windows driver however it is possible to disable the device and when disabled it appears in the HID list but does not show an error.  Double click on HID-compliant touch screen to bring up the properties and click on enable if disabled or disable/enable if enabled.
