Will LSP(Layered Service Provider) work with windows 8?

The application was built with LSP(Layered Service Provider).  Will LSP(Layered Service Provider) work with windows 8?  Or does it need to be replaced with WFP and if so would anyone have code samples of how to do that?

For more complete information about compiler optimizations, see our Optimization Notice.

Refer jeffm's answer on stackoverflow.com/questions/3981665/lsp-layered-service-provider-os-comatability. I haven't done it myself but you may find this sample useful blogs.msdn.com/b/onoj/archive/2007/05/09/windows-filtering-platform-sample.aspx. You can find detailed documentation about WFP here: msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/hardware/gg463267.aspx

Hi Steven,

Check this Link : http://bit.ly/13nRIT6

With LSP's not supporting Metro apps in Windows 8, looks like WFP is the only alternative.
