7th generation CPU with Processor Trace (PT) technology

Hi all!

I'm looking for the new CPU, which supports Intel Processor Trace (Intel PT) technology.

Could you tell me, does Intel® Core™ i3-7100U Processor support PT?

Thanks!

Unfortunatelly, there is no any information about Intel Processor Trace (Intel PT) in this specification.

It is well known that, "Modern Intel Core CPUs (5th and 6th generation) have a Intel Processor Trace (PT) feature". I just need to be sure, that this CPU i3-7100U definitely supports PT.

There is a free tool to give a full information about CPU - https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php. Does anyone have CPU 7th generation and is able to run this tool to check if CPU supports PT?

Hello,

There is one more thing that you can use is the Intel® Processor Identification Utility to check your processor.  Here is the Intel® Processor ID guided tour video.  If you still cannot find the what you are looking for then it is likely that your processor does not have the feature supported.

Thank you Thai, very much!

The thing is that I'm planning to buy online new laptop with Intel PT technology. I need to be sure that it supports PT.
Can I check does this laptop support PT before I will buy it?
