Intel® GPA provides the following command-line tools on Ubuntu* OS:
run_app- launch an OpenGL* desktop application for system analysis from the command line.
gpa_remote_server- use this tool to enable system data analysis on a remote Ubuntu target system.
gpa_console_client- use this tool to automate metrics collection for your Android* target device. In this case, you can collect and analyze metrics data on a regular basis to quickly detect and troubleshoot performance regressions.
A typical workflow is as follows:
Make sure your application is enabled for analysis as explained in the Preparing OpenGL ES* Applications for Profiling topic.
Get the list of target applications installed on your device.
View the list of available metrics that you can collect on your target device and generate a configuration file for metrics collection.
Collect metrics data and export the results into a CSV file. You can set the delay time and collection time if required.
Review the collected metrics data and proceed with further analysis if required.
gpa_console_clienttool only provides the options available through the System Analyzer GUI.
