EFI "LOAD"

Load debug information for the given DXE module ID or name.

Syntax

EFI "LOAD {module_id | module_name}"

Parameters

module_id

The id number of the DXE module you wish to load debug info for.

module_name

The name of the DXE module you wish to load debug information for, for example, module.efi. Note: The module name must have the extension .efi for a module built with Microsoft Visual Studio* or .debug for a module built with the GNU* Compiler.

Description

This command loads debug information for the given DXE module ID or name. Use the command EFI SHOWDXEMODULES to see a list of loaded DXE phase modules. If symbol files cannot be found, add a directory replacement rule. For more information, see also Source Directories Dialog Box Rules Tab.

This command can be used in the DXE phase.

Example: Loading an identified module:

xdb> efi "load Shell.efi"
