LABEL

Label a line within a batch file.

Syntax

label:

Parameters

None.

Description

This command is used within batchfiles. It is used to mark a line with the label label. Labels must start with an alphabetic character and end with a colon “:” All other characters of an label can be alphanumeric characters. Labels may only be used as jump targets from the GOTO command.
