Load parts of a symbol file into the debugger or into the target memory.

LOAD [/NOLOAD] [/OFFSET = offset] OF "file"
LOAD /HEX [=format] OF "file"
LOAD /BINARY /ADDRESS = address OF "file"

When this parameter is specified, only the debug information is loaded into the debugger.

/OFFSET = offset OF "file"

A hexadecimal number that specifies the offset between the location of the debug information and the location of the image loaded on the target.

/HEX[=format] of "file"

When this option is specified, hexrecords are downloaded. The format specifier may have the following values:

MOTOROLA (default) Motorola* S-record

INTEL Intel® hex-record

/BINARY /ADDRESS = address OF "file"

This command downloads a raw binary image file from host to the target at start address. To upload a raw binary image use the UPLOAD command.

This command loads parts of the of the symbol file, file, into the debugger or into the target memory. The options specify which part of the symbol is to be loaded. Refer also to Escape Sequences to pass an entire pathname. If the LOAD command is used a second time with the same filename, the debugger calls delete on the old symbol file and then reloads the debug information.
