SAVE

Save debugger session state to a file.

Syntax

SAVE [/ALL] [/BREAKPOINT] [/MACRO] [/BUTTON] [/OPTION] [/DIRECTORY] [/SYMBOL] [/DBVAR] "filename"

Parameters

/ALL

Equivalent to setting all options.

/BREAKPOINT

Include breakpoints in the save set.

/MACRO

Include macros in the save set.

/BUTTON

Include user-defined toolbar buttons in the save set.

/OPTION

Include debugger global flags and session options in the save set. If no options are specified, this is assumed to be set as a default.

/DIRECTORY

Include the list of source file search paths in the save set. If no options are specified, this is assumed to be set as a default.

/SYMBOL

Include loaded symbol files in the save set.

/DBVAR

Include user-defined debugger variables in the save set.

filename

The name of the file to save to. A full path can be used; otherwise, a relative path is assumed.

Description

This command saves certain aspects of the current debug session to a file so that they can be loaded again in a later session.

Example

SAVE debugger.settings
SAVE /BREAKPOINT debugger.session
SAVE /ALL debugger.session
