Minimal downloads needed??

Minimal downloads needed??

Hi All, So I tried and submitted an app but was rejected based on downloads. I have not heard back yet on what the number of downloads or rate of downloads needed for acceptance of a submission. For different apps in different categories I would expect maybe different criteria regarding downloads. Also, if an app was just published it may not have seen a heavy download yet. So in that case what does Intel do? Wait a couple of months? I suspect it would be good to know this before one submits. Thanks, -Tony

Hi Tony,

I will check into this. What was the name of the app submitted?

Hi Hal,

Learning Trails.

Knowing that one needs to submit their most downloaded app I will submit "Map Master" (even though it has been less than a month since it released) but then I would like to know if it has a chance based upon downloads.

Many Thanks,
-Tony

Hi Hal,

I forwarded you thier response. What they were looking for was for me to list what I thought the pool size would be and growth rate. I asked what they were looking for and that was the response.

Sadly I have decided give serious thought to shutting down some of my apps since I feel this is more of a gaming appup. It might give me as a developer some hope if I knew how many hits or views I was getting and what percentage it was of the total hits to the site. I need to put my evening time back into my family and less on Appup. You all have a great team and I wish you all great luck with Appup.

Many Thanks,
-Tony
