DELETE DIRECTORY

Delete a directory from the list of directories in the search path.

Syntax

DELETE DIRECTORY name

DELETE DIRECTORY "name"

DELETE DIRECTORY /SUBSTITUTE=id

DELETE DIRECTORY /ALL

DELETE/SUBSTITUTE/ALL

Parameters

name

The name of the directory to be deleted.

/SUBSTITUTE

Deletes the rule with the ID number id from the list of source path substitution rules. Substitution rules replace source file path information specified by the symbol file. The ID numbers of all current source path substitution rules can be displayed using the command SHOW DIRECTORY.

/ALL

Deletes all directories.

/SUBSTITUTE /ALL

Deletes all substitution rules.

Description

The DELETE DIRECTORY command deletes a directory from the list of directories in the search path. If the directory name contains spaces, you must enclose it in double quotes.

Example

DELETE DIRECTORY "oldsrcs"
DELETE DIRECTORY /SUBSTITUTE=1
