SET PORT

Write a value to the processor I/O port.

Syntax

SET PORT [/SIZE=size] address = expression

Parameters

/SIZE = size

The optional /SIZE parameter determines the size of expression. Legal values are:

BYTE

WORD

LONG

The default size is BYTE.

address

The address to be written to.

expression

The expression to be written.

Description

The SET PORT command writes the value given by expression to the processor I/O port denoted by address.

Example

SET PORT /SIZE=LONG 0x2f8 = 255
