PB Primitives/Second

The PB Primitives/Second metric represents the number of on screen primitives per second written to the Parameter Buffer (PB).

Improving Performance

The Parameter Buffer communicates primitive data between the Texture and Shader Processor (TSP) and the Image Synthesis Processor (ISP). The Parameter Buffer is generally not a bottleneck, but if you suspect it to be an issue and if the PB Primitives/Second metric is high, you should investigate ways to reduce the vertex format size.
