ISP Load

The ISP Load metric represents the percentage of time that the Image Synthesis Processor (ISP) is busy.

Improving Performance

The ISP is responsible for performing the Hidden Surface Removal to optimize the number of fragments processed by the Texture and Shading Processor. If the ISP Load metric is high, investigate whether your application is inadvertently retaining references to the same Z-buffer contents across different renders. If the ISP Load metric is low, use shadow mapping or similar algorithms.
