Execute a command within a batch file.
This command is used within batchfiles. It executes the specified debugger command
command_string. The argument command_string can also be a debugger variable to which a command has been assigned. See second example (
Nested quotation might not work within the
EXECUTE command. Commands can often be issued also without quotes or directly without the
EXECUTE command. For example:
! The following will not work: EXECUTE "load /debug /noload "C:\..\loadme"" ! Instead you can use one of the following options: EXECUTE "load /debug /noload C:\..\loadme" load /debug /noload "C:\..\loadme"
EXECUTE "SHOW LANGUAGE" EXECUTE "SET LANGUAGE ASM"
The following example demonstrates the usage of debugger variables within the
! Example batch file ex.xdb PRINT /DBVAR=active "SHOW ACTIVE %d \n",2 EXECUTE @active
SHOW ACTIVE is executed as it is typed directly in the Console window.
