The pins on the Expansion Board breakout connectors can be mapped for different functions and purposes depending on the operating system used and the version of the BIOS.
The expansion board has two breakout connectors:
- Breakout connector #1 is numbered from 1-40.
- Breakout connector #2 is numbered from 41-80 (but is also labelled 1-40 on the physical board).
Pinmapping tables are available in the subsequent topics for the following situations:
- Default BIOS - note that each iteration of BIOS can change the pinmapping. See the BIOS release notes for each version for the latest information.
- Linux* GPIO
- Win10 IoT
|Note: The pinmapping for the Intel® Joule™ module connectors can be found in Module Board-to-Board Connector Pinout.|
