Wrong warning F2008 (R1214.4)

Hi

 

the compiler give me a wrong warning when i use -std08 :warning #7601: F2008 standard does not allow an internal procedure to be an actual argument procedure name. (R1214.4)

portability issues on other compilers

Does anyone know which standard introduced allocatable dummy arguments? It seems that ifort has had these for quite some time but gcc 4.4 throws a fit when I use them.

Intel Fortran v. 11 generates 3 nul characters between each letter

I think there is a bug with the IFort v.11. I wrote a simple code to translate a binary file to an ascii file but it generates 3 nul characters between each letter.
