Hi,I have a question about the function c_loc() of iso_c_binding,real(c_double),dimension(:), pointer :: temp1,temp2 allocate(temp1(f_sp%sizeknots))
the compiler give me a wrong warning when i use -std08 :warning #7601: F2008 standard does not allow an internal procedure to be an actual argument procedure name. (R1214.4)

I am a new user of ifort for linux, and the problem for me is that my program stops automatically without any warnning.
Does anyone know which standard introduced allocatable dummy arguments? It seems that ifort has had these for quite some time but gcc 4.4 throws a fit when I use them.
hope there is someone from the intel ifort compiler team being able to answer my somehow strange questions ;-) .
I think there is a bug with the IFort v.11. I wrote a simple code to translate a binary file to an ascii file but it generates 3 nul characters between each letter.
In my console:linux-v0x8:/home/casm # ifort -vVersion 11.1 linux-v0x8:/home/casm # idb -v
