silent installation intel IPP under linux

I'm trying to install Intel IPP as described here https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/intel-composer-xe-2015-silent-installation-guide

in silent.cfg I have defined:
COMPONENTS="intel-ipp-st-devel-common__noarch;intel-ipp-st-devel__x86_64;"

there are no errors after running:
./install.sh --silent /path/to/l_ccompxe_2015.3.187/silent.cfg

but after installation there are no symbolic links under /opt/intel:

  • ippiFloodFill freezes

    Hi,

    I've discovered that ippiFloodFill_Range8Con_8u_C1IR function hangs on some images, e.g. for situation:

    • Seed(371, 149)  - in that point image has value 10
    • newValue = 0
    • minDelta = 10
    • maxDelta = 3
    • roiSize -> whole image

    If needed I can send image on which function freezes.

    Cryptography 8.2

    I have the main IPP installation package (Windows):

    w_ipp_8.2.2.208 (and .148)

    The latest cryptography package is

    w_ccompxe_crypto_ipp_8.2.2.221_intel64

    This package will not install, because it requests to install IPP 8.2.2.221 first ... but I cannot find that anywhere

     

    Please help

    Need ippSC functions removed in 9.0

    I just upgraded my Parallel Studio XE to 2016 and there was no longer an option for including the ippSC functions.

    Can I get the missing ippSC functions for 9.0 or can I downgrade just IPP back to 8.2?

    I can't find a download link for IPP 8.2 with update 2 anymore.  Is there a way I can download the latest IPP that still had ippSC?
