Post problem on IDZ website: After a new post in a thread 1st post in the thread is Re-Formatted

I see a very strange problem:

As soon as Intel software engineer makes a new post in a thread 1st post in the thread is Re-Formatted. Take a look how my 1st post looks like now:

Forum Topic: How can I verify Build or Update numbers of Intel C++ compiler at compile time?

Post problem on IDZ website: Message queued for admin approval

Q: Have you ever experienced a problem with so called "message queued for admin approval"?

A: Yes and it happens every time when a web link is referenced in a text of the post. However, I don't think any posts have to be delayed when Intel domains are referenced. For example, www.intel.com, or software.intel.com/..., etc. It is clear that Intel is trying to reduce number of spam-posts about different TV news, Game Events news, etc.

learning coding in x64 architecture

Hello,

I am an 2nd year computer engineering student. I am familiarized with intel 8086 assembley coding and Motorola M68HC11 architectures.

I want to learn(instruction set) and develope in assembly language for x64 architectures like intel i3 processor. I also want to learn  acessing peripheral devices like display, camera, speakers through this coding. Can anyone please suggest any online resources, developement tools so that i can start early and get my hands dirty by experimenting with my codes?.

Laptop SODIMM memory with 9-9-9-24 latency vs. 10-10-10-27 latency ( Non-ECC ).

Hi everybody,

Subject is: Laptop SODIMM memory with 9-9-9-24 latency vs. 10-10-10-27 latency ( Non-ECC ).

I'm considering to buy a laptop SODIMM memory ( 8GB x 2 ) and my questions are:

- Which one is better in terms of performance ( latency )?
- What else has to be taken into account when selecting a laptop SODIMM memory?

Thanks in advance.

Problem with Java multithreaded bubble sort algorithm

Hi

I decided to create a new thread solely for the purpose of getting an answer from someone experienced in Java multithreading and/or multithreaded sorting algorithm optimization.

Some time ago I wrote simple multithreaded version of bubble sort algorithm in order to  measure speed of execution as a function of data set size and number of  spawned worker threads.

The results obtained from averaging hundreds of program runs were  partially expected. The best result was achieved with the 4 spawned threads thus matching number of cores available.
