Good afternoon Game Developers!
This is the forum post youve all been waiting for since the contest launched last fall! This years Level Up had a number of improvements to the contest including a sponsorship from Valve Software to get the winning demos featured on Steam.
You're probably all eagerly anticipating the announcement of the winners of Level Up.
There have been a number of contestant who asked for access to the judges feedback. Unfortunately the way the judging was performed, they judged the demos on a numeric scoring system and didn't put any notes with written feedback on any of the demos. We'll try to find a way to take this into consideration for next year.
I had wrote very useful tool for game developer (who use UDK). This is a 3D world editor and Script Wizard FLCT (Fast Level Creation Tools).
It generate unreal script code for inventory, save-load system, menu, AI, traders, day-time cycle, chest, weapon, map/minimap/radar, spell panel, and many other. Mobile games creation also supported.
Maybe someone can use it to improve their games.
I just wanted to know if today we know who were the winners.Regards and good luck to all.
What are some of your aspirations this new year? Have any big project ideas?
Level Up homepage states that winners will be announced in June whereas the
Official Rules says winners will be notified by May 11.
So which is the case?
Is it possible to change the description on an entry ?I would doubt that but hey, just asking
