Camera Interference and Question about finger tracking

Hi everyone !

I got that camera for 3 days now and I've some trouble. I want to know why sometimes when I'm using the depth sensor I have some interference in the image.

A screen in the attachment.

I tried to use the camera in a room without light but it didn't change something. So is it normal or it is in my code ?

VS2013 : error C1010: unexpected end of file while looking for precompiled header. Did you forget to add '#include "stdafx.h"'

Hi all...

Using VS2013, trying to create the app that is in the document titled
"How to Use the Face Detection Module"

Created a new project, typed in the code exactly as it appears in the document which is on page 3.  There is one difference though. When i created my console application, VS automatically puts a #include "stdafx." directive at the top of the main file.

Anyway, I created the source code, tried to compile, I then get the error

Help with recompiling SDK for dynamic linking

I have posted this query before, I think. I need help with recompiling the library for dynamic linking. Please give me a step-by-step guide with recompiling the library for dynamic linking. I haven't checked the latest SDK build, but the last I've used (R4) doesn't have this information. I hope someone can help me with this.

Forward the PXCUPipeline to a new Scene(Level) UNITY

I want to switch between Scenes (Levels) in Unity and i got 1 Script that i want to use to control all my Gestures and Coordinates for all other Scripts. But if i switch to a new Scene i have no more control about the camera and !pp.AcquireFrame(false) is false.

What can i do? Is there a way to forward the pp or is there any other solution?

Thanks in Advance!

Intel Perceptual SDK on Android?

Hi everyone,

I would like to know if it possible to use the Intel Perceptual SDK on an Android device. More specifically I'm interested in knowing if the face-recognition feature could be available on an Android device (I understand that hand gesture recognition definitively requires a special camera).

Is it possible? Any workaround or suggestion?

Invalid Operation Exception when running sample code

I have just started learning and using Intel SDK. I created a C++ project using Visual Studio 2008 and added the /MT property sheets which come with the SDK. Then, I pasted the sample code given in the documentation (shown below) in a file and ran it.

#include "stdafx.h"
#include "util_render.h"
#include "util_pipeline.h"

int _tmain(int argc, _TCHAR* argv[]) {

    UtilPipeline pp;

PauseVoiceRecognition(true) doesn't do anything, sometimes throws null reference exception

I call PauseVoiceRecognition(true); right after EnableVoiceRecognition();

The still opens and starts listening in the background.

I tried calling PauseVoiceRecognition(true); after a delay, but this still happens

I'm not able to consistently reproduce this bug. Has anyone else had issues like this?

The wavelength of the IR sensor in this camera

Hi, I'm working on a experiment to measure plant height with this camera in a indoor condition.

However, i don't know whether the illumination from the lamp will make the error due to its wavelength range.

Normally, if the wavelength between the lamp and camera aren't overlapped, it's fine.

So i'm just wondering whether you can offer that information, thanks.
