Senz3D Camera Depth Problem

Dear all,

I'm a new user and I'm dealing with senz3d camera.

I don't know whether I'm in the right section... sorry in advance!

Let me describe my issues: I've got a creative senz3d camera, I've already installed its drivers and Intel Perc SDK 2013 on my laptop that is an intel i7 running windows 8.1.

I tried to run samples provided by intel as 'raw_streams' inside RSSDK folder but I cannot see any depth samples while color stream works correctly.

Could you help me with developing sign language program with SENZ 3D?

We are currently developing sign language program by using SENZ 3D with C#.

But we barly started because it's our fist time to use this. It's really hard for us to understand the codes.

I need to know where I can extract the informations of fingers' locations.

I don't even know which classes or functions do I need to look at.

Please give me some hints to get through this problem.

(I have some kind of documents which look like manuals for this. but it's so vast that I don't even know where to start to extract the informaions.)

Cannot install Intel Perceptual Computing SDK 2013 v1.8

Hello Everyone,

I tried several times to install Intel Perceptual Computing SDK 2013 on my computer but it always failed.

I have tried to change the installation folder, to give admin rights to the installer, to disable my Internet connection and the antivirus (ESET). But none of these worked. Below are my computer settings:

  • intel_pc_sdk_offline_package_t_1.8.13842.0.exe

how to use Realsense build a 3d reconstruction

Hi All,

    Realsense is a very good module.

    "3D Scanning" is so cool.  Net:

     Intel Inc. supply SDK on network. It demo a lot of functions.

    But SDK doesn't supply sample of 3d reconstruction.

     Could Intel Inc. supply sample of 3d reconstruction, please? or Could you share the knowledge about  3d reconstruction?


PXCImage, ImageData and Rendering

I'm new to the SDK and am getting kinda lost.

As using the default tracking algorithm is kinda buggy for me, I am cleaning the frame by means of a benchmark frame (an initial average of the first x second of the stream), and then run finger tracking on it. 

Couple of things are confusing me:

1- PXCImage::ImageData is just data about the image and not the image itself right? Or not? If not then how do iterate through? Is there a way to render it if it does have the image data itself.

Setting Frame in Session

I have queried the depth frame and have done some application specific cleaning and optimization, so now I am left with the 2D 16-bit array with depth values. Can I kind of set the current frame as this array and then run the QueroGeoNodes on this, or some kind of work around on this. 

PS: I'm using unity.

I need 2013 version of SDK please help me :(

I'm a student who is trying to develope some programs by using SENZ 3D.

I found that the company has stopped distributing 2013 version of SDK and they started releasing the new version of that. But as I heard, I need the version of 2013 SDK to develope SENZ 3D's program.

I've searched for 2013 version in this forum to get it downloaded but I failed.

So does anyone have 2013 version of SDK?
