From Serial to Awesome: Transforming Serial Code to Parallel Using Threading and Vectorization

Software must be both parallel and vectorized to fully utilize today’s—and tomorrow’s—hardware. But not all threading or vectorization designs are worthwhile. Tools can be very helpful for determining what can (and should) be parallelized and for letting developers know what speed-up benefits to expect. Instead of going out on their own, developers should make full use of tools to make this transformation more efficient. This webinar discusses the tools available in Intel® Parallel Studio XE 2016.
