Use the Intel® XDK Projects tab to choose the active project, create a new project and manage project build settings. The "Projects" tab also allows you to select and maintain Cordova plugins and graphical assets, and to install and maintain Bower* libraries.
Describes important concepts needed to use the Projects tab. It explains Intel® XDK project types, viewing project root and source directories, and how to include Cordova* plugins in your app, set Cordova build settings, and add launch icons/splash screens. It also describes how to upgrade a Standard HTML5 project to an HTML5+Cordova project type.
Shows how to use the Projects tab to create a new Intel® XDK project from a template or sample demo, or by importing an app's HTML5 code base. Provides instructions on selecting the active project, opening a project not listed in the Projects tab, and moving a project's files to a different directory or development system.
Describes how you download and manage build certificates, especially Android keystoresthat are used to digitally sign your app. Only existing keystores are stored within your Intel XDK account, you can no longer create or import build certificates into the Intel XDK certificate management tool.
IMPORTANT: As of July 10, 2017, the Intel XDK cloud-based build servers have been retired. You can only use the Intel XDK certificate management tool to download existing Android build certificates that you need in order to update existing apps that have been published to the Android store. See these PhoneGap Build instructions for creating an Android build certificate and see these instructions explaining how to build your apps with PhoneGap Build and Cordova CLI for additional help.
You can find, fetch, install, and maintain Bower* packages for your Intel XDK project. You can view details about selected packages, including relevant documentation, available versions, and package dependencies. Bower resolves the dependencies of a selected installed package and automatically installs those packages that a selected installed package depends on.
The Intel XDK includes a Plugin Management section in the Projects tab to simplify finding, adding, maintaining, and removing plugins for your app.
Specify whitelist permissions for your Cordova CLI mobile app.
Use the Intel® XDK Projects tab to select launch icons and splash screens you want to include as part of your app package when the Intel XDK exports your app to build with PhoneGap Build or Cordova CLI.
Typical Next Step: Develop
The Develop tab lists files in your project directory and provides a built-in code editor. You can also explore web services and preview live source changes.
