When you purchase a license for an Intel® Software Development Product, you are entitled to the latest version of your product, as well as any new versions which are released during your license period. When your subscription expires, you are "locked in" to the last version which released during the period, and you are limited in terms of support. A renewal license allows you to extend your support window and provides you with an upgrade path for new versions, premier technical support, and associated resources.
Licensing costs vary by product, however generally if your license expired more than two years ago, a new license costs less than purchasing a three-year renewal.
Intel has reduced the renewal prices for Intel® Software Development products. This will make it even easier to consider renewing early and extending uninterrupted access to product support and product updates!
Buy a Pre-Expiry Date Renewal before your one year of support ends for an exceptionally low price. A full year of product support and updates will be added on to your current product’s expiry date. You can buy this renewal any time before your current support ends.
If you don’t get around to buying a Pre-Expiry Date Renewal and your current product’s support expires, you can still buy a Post-Expiry Date Renewal. This is a new type of renewal. The discount is not as good as the Pre-Expiry Date Renewal, but still substantial. This discount is available for up to one year after your current license expires! The renewal starts on the date of purchase, not the day your product expires, and gives you one full year of support and updates.
If you wait more than 13 months after your product’s expiry date, you no longer qualify for a renewal. If you want continued support at that time, you will have to repurchase the product.
