How do I upgrade my product to the new version?

Our licensing model is based on subscription, not version. If you are interested in installing a newer version of your product, and your subscription period is active, your existing serial number and/or license will work.

To download the latest version, follow these steps

  • Centro de inscripción de Productos para desarrollo de software Intel®
  • active
  • expired
  • license
  • upgrade
  • How can I install my product without internet access?

You can manually copy the license file you received when registering your serial number to the location specified by the INTEL_LICENSE_FILE environment variable and then proceed with the install. By default your INTEL_LICENSE_FILE environment variable points to the following locations:

    • Windows*: \program files\common files\intel\licenses
    • Linux*: /opt/intel/licenses
    • Mac OS*: /Users/Shared/Library/Application Support/Intel/Licenses

  • What type of license is needed for a single computer with multiple CPU's?

With the exception of Intel® Cluster Tools, Intel® Software Products are licensed to a named user rather than to a single computer. For Intel® Cluster Tools, the Single Developer license enables individuals to inexpensively obtain a license. The Cluster System license enables organizations and universities to cost-effectively purchase licenses for a large number of developers. There are two important characteristics of Cluster System licenses. First, the license is tied to a specific cluster, so if you have two clusters, you will need to purchase two separate Cluster System licenses.
