You only need to register the product key or serial number for your commercial products. Registering your serial number identifies your product as eligible for Priority Support. Free products do not need registration and do not come with Priority Support.

You need to register every product key or serial number for a commercial product to enable your Priority Support for that product. Make sure all your commercial serial numbers are registered prior to seeking support.

All Intel® Software Development Products have a unique product key or serial number.

The product key or serial number is a 36-character, unique identifier for a suite or toolkit associated with your entitlement. For example: 5ca0a982-4c27-4f14-bbe9-5155e1af1efb.

On legacy systems, product keys or serial numbers created on the legacy system follow a 13-character format. For example: L8B7-4SBW47N5.

For purchased products, the product key or serial number is included in your email receipt.

For products requiring a license or serial number to install, the serial number is in the email that includes your download link.

View and manage your product key or serial number in the Intel Registration Center.

Make sure you registered your product. While registering the product, if an error message states that it is already registered, it may have been registered or signed up for under a different account.

If your product key or serial number was registered but the product does not appear in your account, see the support options at Get Help.

You can register your serial numbers on the Intel Registration Center.

To register a software product using the entitlement ID (EID) or product key (PKID):
