Intel system studio 2018: Not getting an option select yocto image for container to build project

I'm trying to build my project for Intel Edison. Connected an Edison board to the linux machine and was able to identify the device in the ISS 2018. Created a new project as "Project for building in a container and running on linux". I was not able choose for Yocto as target OS for building in a container. Please help me through the procedure to download and install the yocto docker image for intel system studio iot edision 2018.

Same problem. Please help. Or just say we are wasting our time.

A am being able to select only Ubuntu. HALP!1

Same question here.

The thing is that ISS only have 1 .os file at  <install_dir>\system_studio_2018\eclipse\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\380\0\.cp\oss.

And it is ubuntu.os. But if you look at ISS IoT Edition (old version of IDE) you will find that there are several .os files including yocto.os at

<install_dir>\IntelSystemStudioIoTEdition\iss-iot-win\iot\platforms\oss

I tried to copy/copy&change yocto.os from ISS IoT Edition to ISS2018 folder but that didnt work.

P.S. There is a folder:

<install_dir>\IntelSystemStudioIoTEdition\iss-iot-win\iot\platforms\boards

It contains platforms, such as galileo.platform etc. In ISS2018 we have simillar directory:

<install_dir>\IntelSWTools\system_studio_2018\eclipse\configuration\org.eclipse.osgi\382\0\.cp\platforms\boards

There is single generic.platform file with ubuntu as default OS. We need to create yocto.platfom or galileo.platform with yocto as OS.

P.S.S.INTEL HALP!

Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

The list of available OSes is a limited set. To build on top of any of those images please follow the steps here :

https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-system-studio-docker-customize-image

Additionally, to add your own custom image, follow the steps here

https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-system-studio-docker-new-custom-i...

So, to add yocto as one of the custom docker image, one would want to take any generic yocto docker file from dockerhub. Use the 'Create a new docker image' article to add it as a custom image.
