How to use remote collection using Intel® System Studio

Introduction

Intel® System Studio is Intel’s suite of software tools for embedded processors and contains features that allow you to profile your target remotely.

Background

The typical workflow of VTune™ Amplifier for Systems is for users to collect their performance data on their target and to display the results using the VTune Amplifier for Systems GUI.

    Intel® System Studio 2014 - System Requirements

    Intel® System Studio targets development for Andoid*, Embedded Linux*, Yocto Project*, Tizen* IVI, and Wind River Linux* deployment targets from Linux* or Windows* host.

    How to get Intel System Studio 2014 - Windows* Host package?

    Upon registering for the program you will receive a serial number and email with a license file. You will need either of these two to complete the installation process. If you want to use the license file you can point to it during install, but you can also copy it to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Intel\Licenses\for automatic pickup by the installer.

    Execute one of the installer executable.
