The mesh team has been hard at work and this week it’s Rick Edgecombe’s turn to shine with his release of the latest Mesh Agent for Android on the Google Play store. The improvements touch many aspects of the Android agent and so, we will have to look at this in detail:
While Intel did not release an Intel® vProTM Technology desktop with ME (Intel® Manageability Engine) Firmware v10, the later versions of firmware are backwards compatible as early as Intel® 7 series chipsets (ME 8.x originally).
Sometimes when technology changes, you can't really see yourself using the new features, especially in a business setting. However, I don't think anyone will have that problem with the move to wire free PCs. (Or why to care about Wi terms: WiDi, WiGig/WiDock, Wireless Charging, )
Below find 2 scripts (Big Thanks to Lance A) using PowerShell* to:
- Test the Reason for the last boot
- Set the AMT Alarm Clock.(legacy interface)
Before running a PowerShell script, you may need to set the PowerShell environment to allow scripts to run . Also make sure the vPro Scripting Library is installed on the client.
Today with work from Matt Primrose and Rick Edgecombe, we are announcing much improved Android support in Meshcentral with both new Mesh Agent for Android on the Google Play store and new Server Side management control.
