I have a fresh installation of Window 7pro, 64bit, Core 2 Duo, Intel x86 HAXM 5.2, 6gb Ram, Android Studio 1.0.2.
Do I need Intel Atom System Image installed? if so, which one, the 64?
When I start AVD manager in Android studio. It tells me that :
"emulator: ERROR: x86 emulation currently requires hardware acceleration! Please ensure Intel HAXM is properly installed and usable. CPU acceleration status: HAX kernel module is not installed!"
Then I go to file location to install HAXM manually. in the middle of installation, it pops up a window says:
"Failed to configure driver: unknown error. Failed to open driver"
There are some solutions online but nothing works. I have attached log. Is there anyone can help me?
Hello Intel :(
I Am Trying to install HAXM for android but its show me error
My System Is :
Intel® Core™ i5-4440 Processor
(6M Cache, up to 3.30 GHz)
i already check BIOS setting Virtulization is Enable And i already check with Intel Utility Tool.
and i already disable from bios and check again in studio still shows error .
my Windows is :
i disable avast for 10mins and try again result remain same.
I'm currently trying to install HAXM to use the AVD emulator in Eclipse
- Enabling the VT in the BIOS, restarting and trying again
- Installing the newest version of HAXM from the Intel site.
- Disabling Hyper-V
I've rebooted multiple times and checked the BIOS where VT is enabled
I also couldn't find Hyper-V in my Windows Features so it isn't installed
I'm trying this on a Windows 8.1 64-bit HP Envy Laptop
Intel i7 Processer, 8GB ram
I try to install android usb driver, but I Get message " this OS is not supported". And there is no "Compatibility" folder when I have a look to "IntelAndroidDrvSetup1.1.5.exe" properties. Where is the problem ?
