In general, System Analyzer provides real-time platform & app analysis capability*. With this utility, developers can easily check the real-time changes on the performance metrics they care (e.g. CPU/GPU loading, media engines usage and power metrics etc.) while interacting with their target test app.
Take the first look about System Analyzer below. Metrics names listed in left panel can be dragged-and-dropped into right view panels for real-time monitoring.

This article is a tutorial on how to use Intel® System Studio to build and debug C/C++ applications running on Intel® Edison. Intel® C++ Compiler and GNU Debugger are the components from Intel® System Studio. With this tutorial, you will know how to use Intel® C++ compiler to build the application from Eclipse or from the command line. You will also know how to use GNU* Debugger for the remote debugging from Eclipse. Intel® System Studio supports cross build from both Windows host and Linux host. This article will use Windows as the major host system for the demonstration.
