Problem when mapping depth to color coordinates

I tried to map depth to color coordinates using uvmap and I obtained this result:

I've got two issues. First, I've this large shift between the real location and the mapping. Second, I don't know why I've the end of my hand at the left of the frame. Here is my code:

Important comment on the the Pioneer award and my app

I tried to add a shorter version of this comment to the announcement of the Pioneer award winners.  But I kept getting a message about my post triggering the spam filter so I'm posting it here as a new message.  It's quite a bit longer than the original because this is really bothering me.

SDK install of Dragon Core module keeps failing

I've gone through this process several times now and I can't get the Dragon Core module to download via the R7 Install program (or older versions either).  Each time I try the install program pops up an Error dialog box saying the Dragon Core module failed CRC check.  I really need to get this going.  Does someone have a fix for this?

Can't get depth stream in 64bit module

I have just bought a Creative Senze 3D camera, it works fine with 32bit version sample of the SDK.

But the depth stream can't be acquired in 64 bit version.

1.png is the 32 bit Capture Viewer, 2.png is the 64bit Capture Viewer.

My operating system is 64bit.

And my computer is

System Type    x64-based PC
Processor    Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2400 CPU @ 3.10GHz, 3101 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 4 Logical Processor(s)

May I ask why I can't get the depth map under 64bit?

Best Regards,

Perceptual Computing Challenge new Pioneer Award, Checkpoint, and Early Submission winners announced

Intel has announced the winners …

In addition to the major prize winners, an additional award category, the Perceptual Computing Pioneer Award, was created.     This category is to recognize the next batch of developers who built creative and innovative demos, which are great examples in the new field of natural user interfaces.

The Checkpoint Award recognizes developer profiles which showed Clarity of Idea, an overall grasp of Perceptual Computing and a clear understanding of Intel's SDK.

Errors when using new SDK with older code and camera

I have a executable that used to work under an older SDK (probably Beta 3) and a older camera with firmware 2028.

I've had to install this on a newer PC and I'm now getting these error message continuously with the latest SDK:

~[00001010]: Streaming Exception: tjDecompressHeader2(): Not a JPEG file: starts with 0xda 0xfd

~[00001010]: Got exception: tjDecompressHeader2(): Not a JPEG file: starts with 0xda 0xfd

SoftKinetic DS325

Hello everyone,

I was under the impression that the Intel Perceptual Computing SDK was compatible with the SoftKinetic DS325 camera. However, it seems that it cannot detect the depth stream from that camera.

If indeed the new release of the SDK is not compatible with the DS325, is there a way to get an older SDK that is?

Or do you have any suggestion to make the current SDK work with it?

Thank you for your assistance
