I was raised in the outskirts of a small town in the middle of Alberta for most of my life. Ever since I could talk I was either drawing, or playing on a computer or video game. My first video game system was the Nintendo Entertainment System, although half the time I would purposefully insert dust into the cartridges to experiment with how the games malfunction. I had access to programming software when I was 12, and ever since I have been hooked. My first project was a hugely ambitious video game project that I planned to build entirely on my own. Eventually I realized that the technology available at the time required that an ambitious game have teams of many developers. Hence, my focus has shifted: Now I aim to build the tools that artists and developers need to bring whatever they imagine in their heads onto the screen (and perhaps beyond that) with as little hassle as possible. I have been actively programming for 6 years, motivated by my own curiosity and desire to innovate.
