Differences in vectorization and parallel diagnostic reporting between Intel® Compiler 11.0 and 11.1

Diagnostics reporting such as vectorization and OpenMP parallelization messages are turned on by default in the Intel® C++ Compiler version 11.0 (icl/icc 11.0).  This has the undesirable side affect of polluting compilation build logs with undesirable diagnostics messages.  To resolve the above problem, diagnostics reporting is off by default in the Intel® C++ Compiler version 11.1 (icl/icc 11.1).  To turn diagnostics on in icl/icc 11.1 you need to specify a reporting option.  Using any of the reporting options listed below will turn on diagnostics reporting:

/Qpar-report                      // report auto-parallelizer diagnostics
/Qpar-report:{1|2|3}         // /Qpar-report1 is same as above
/Qvec-report                     // report autovectorizer diagnostics
/Qvec-report:{1|2|3|4|5}  // /Qvec-report1 is same as above
/Qopenmp-report              // report OpenMP diagnostics
/Qopenmp-report:{1|2}    // /Qopenmp-report1 is same as above
/Qdiag-enable:par            // same as /Qpar-report1
/Qdiag-enable:vec            // same as /Qvec-report1
/Qdiag-enable:openmp     //  same as /Qopenmp-report1
