Breaking apart compound shapes

Is there an easy class for storing a bunch of rigid bodies in one parent rigid body then having them seperate?For instance, I have a model that is 4 meshes, and I'd like them to move together until it dies, then it will break apart into it's seperate meshes.I hope that's clear enough.Thanks in advance,Daniel
