Adobe Melrose is now InMarket?

Adobe Melrose is now InMarket?

Portrait de Softtalkmobile
Hi there I had some questions regarding AIR apps for IADP: Is it correct that Adobe Melrose is now Adobe InMarket? How does this affect the submission process for AppUp? Does it mean Flex apps have to go through Adobe now? Thanks in advance for any pointers! Sean

Hi Sean,

Adobe Melrose is the SDK that Intel and Adobe has been providing for developing applications that you want to publish on the Intel AppUp™ Center as well. It may sometimes also be called the Adobe In Market SDK. But in general the Adobe In market is a distribution service from Adobe that lets you bring your apps to the market.

If you want to publish an AIR app on the Intel AppUp Center you can either submit your app via our normal submission process or submit it via Adobe. If you submit it via our normal process, there are no extra steps. if you submit it via Adobe, then you will need to state that you will also like the app to appear on the Intel AppUp Center. At this moment I do not have any information on how their submission process works.

We currently support Flex Builder 3 using Flex SDK 3.5a or Flex Builder 4 using Flex SDK 4.1 (note Flex Builder 4 with Flex SDK 4.0 is not supported). You can find more information about Adobe AIR on Intel AppUp on this link: http://appdeveloper.intel.com/en-us/adobe-air

I hope this helps in clearing your doubts.

Hi Sean,

We do develop apps in Adobe Air and submit it directly to Intel Appup with the Melrose Integration.
But people can always submit it via Adobe In Maket which is like Intel Appup Dashboard. If you submit via Adobe. It will be automatically published in Intel Appup. They have the partnership. In either way u have to integrate the melrose License integration.

Hope the answer is helpful. If you find any difficulties please feel free to contact us in the forum.
