Expected files seem to be missing

Hi,

We are just getting started with mpss and I was trying to follow the instructions found at http://software.intel.com/sites/default/files/article/373934/system-admi... specifically the section on making an nfs export available to a coprocessor.   "Implementation using CommonDir" page 23.

The documentation implies that /opt/intel/mic/filesystem/common should exist.  It didn't so I created it and a directory etc under this.  The document then wanted me to copy the existing fstab from mic0 to another location.  Which makes perfect sense.  But the problem is that for both of our co-processors the only skeleton file that seems to be available is /opt/intel/mic/filesystem/mic{0|1}/etc/sysconfig/network/ifcfg-mic0.

Have I missed something fundamental in our installation ?  Any help would be appreciated.

I have seen that when runnig miccheck it complains that the running flash version is to low so I have been able to run

micflash -update -smcbootloader -device all and it appears to have completed successfully.  I can not yet reboot the host to confirm this.

The system is CentOS 6.5 mpss 3.1.2

Hi,

As a follow up to this.  Problem  resolved.  The file locations in the document I was referencing weren't correct.  As well that this fstab was already being copied as part of mic0.filelist and mic1.filelist so this was overriding common.filelist.
