What is the correct way to generate a shared library from a module?
I currently use ifort -share -fpic mymod.f90
I have trouble finding documentation or examples that deal with OpenMP threading of code with derived types. Can anyone recommend a good online resource or a book that covers this well?
I was able to generate an internal compiler error with the the attached code. Its with the latest release of ifort 11.1.069. All the best.
New to mac and I am not sure how to uninstall the Fortran Compiler 11.1 for Mac.

How do I install Ifort without Xcode on my MacBook (Leopard) ? The ifort documentation suggests this is possible, but there appears to be no path to do so in the installation process.
For an OpenMP program I want to enforce the use of NUMA local memory with threads that are permanently bound tothe sameCPU. These threads do frequent ALLOCATE's and DEALLOCATE's.
