Network Boot from BIOS

Hello all.

Does anyone know of any plans to enable future BIOS updates to do real OS boots over a network? The closest to this at the moment is obviously PXE Boot but has many limitations. What would be nice to see if the ability to have a limited IP stack that enabled the user to enter the hosts IP address/subnet/gateway and then some protocols such as http or sftp to get a boot image and boot from it. Sun already do this as part of their Wanboot offering. When's everyone else going to catch up?

Could someone verify that the instructions mentioned actually work?

We publish our platform for example

and in this directory the application IamtTerm that we attach doesnt work, and
in other places it works perfectly.

We need this application works in

Managing vPro machines over the Internet

I'm not sure if this the right forum but i couldn't find an alternate forum.I've got couple of questions related to managing vPro machines over the Internet..

a. Will i be able to manage a vPro machine which is static NAT'ed to a global IP(valid/public/internet routable)?

b. Do we have another option of managing multiple vPro machines over the Internet other than VPN?

PS: I'm an Intel EE

Whats the difference between these two certificates

Whats the difference between these two root certificates, one placed at "CertGeneratorClientSecScripts rusted_rootCA" named "trusted_cert.cer" and other placed at "CertGeneratorSecScripts
ootCA" named "cacert.cer", these are placed by Sample SCA.

The default.conf.xml files has the name of trusted_cert.pem as trusted root certificate, but when I include this in browser as trusted root certificate, browser does't automatically allow https connection with AMT, but when I specify "cacert.cer" as trusted root in browser, it works automatically.

SCS 3.0 - "Certificate Cannot be issued"

Hi all,

I have been using the SCS 3.0, and i have lately decided to start using TLS as well. The only problem is that I am having some trouble provisioning my clients. I get the following message in the Security Audit:

Cerificate cannot be issued - OS error code: 0x2. - Process interrupted.

I am trying to provision with Server Authentication. My "TLS Server Certificate Detils" have been configured and point to a valid standalone certificate server.

Any ideas?
